PrintThe sum of $228,880 is appropriated for the following expenses of the National Zoological Park; for roads, walks, bridges, water supply, sewerage, and drainage; improving the grounds; erecting and repairing buildings; care and transportation of animals; necessary employees; procurement of live specimens; motor vehicles, bicycles and motor cycles; revolvers and ammunition; uniforms to park police and keepers; books and periodicals. No part of this sum shall be available for architect's fees or compensation.
