PrintThe sum of $203,000 is appropriated for the National Zoological Park for roads, walks, bridges, water supply, sewerage, and drainage; grading, and improving the grounds, erecting and repairing buildings; care of animals; necessary employees; travel expenses; uniforms for park police; and the purchase of necessary books and periodicals. No part of this sum shall be available for architect's fees or compensation. For the construction of a public exhibition building for reptiles, amphibians, insect, and miscellaneous invertebrates, $220,000 is appropriated.
