PrintAll laws of the United States (other than this Act) applicable exclusively to the District of Columbia, in force on the effective date of this Act, in which reference is made to the (1) justice of the peace, (2) justice of the peace court, (3) police court of the District of Columbia, (4) Municipal Court of the District of Columbia, (5) Municipal Court for the District of Columbia, and (6) District of Columbia Court of General Sessions, are amended by substituting "Superior Court of the District of Columbia" for each such reference. Amendments are also included pertaining to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Laws of the United States applicable to the District of Columbia, in force on the effective date of this Act, are amended by striking out all references to the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and inserting in lieu thereof "Superior Court of the District of Columbia".
