Summary

Upon delivery within thirty days following the enactment of this Act to the Smithsonian Institution by the Merchants National Bank and Trust Company of Indianapolis, as executor of the estate of Josiah K. Lilly, of the title to ownership, and possession of the collection of gold coins left by Josiah K. Lilly and comprising approximately 6,125 items, the estate shall be entitled to a credit against its obligation for Federal estate tax, effective as of the date upon which the return was due to be filed, in the amount of $5,534,808.
