PrintWhen the Secretary of Commerce is satisfied that the public interest in promoting trade will be served, he shall so advise the Secretary of the Treasury, designating the name of the fair, the place where the fair will be held, and the date when the fair will open and when it will close. The Secretary of Commerce may prescribe such regulations as he deems necessary or appropriate to carry out the provisions of this Act. Provisions are set forth for the disposition of articles entered for fairs including: exportation; transfer of such fair to other customs custody status or to a foreign-trade zone, destroyal, or abandonment to the Government.
