Summary

The Regents of the Smithsonian Institution are authorized and directed to prepare plans, including drawings and specifications for the construction of a suitable building for a National Air Museum. The exact location of the building shall be approved by the National Capital Planning Commission, and the design shall be approved by the Commission of Fine Arts. All work shall be under the supervision of the Administrator of the General Services Administration. The sums necessary to carry out the provisions of this act are authorized to be appropriated to the Regents of the Smithsonian Institution.
