Summary

The sum of $573,000 is appropriated for expenses necessary for the National Zoological Park including: erecting and repairing buildings; care and improvement of grounds; travel; procurement of live specimens; purchase of motorcycles and passenger motor vehicles; revolvers and ammunition; purchase of uniforms and equipment for police and uniforms for keepers. The amounts so advanced will be available for the objects herein specified, any unexpended balance to be returned to this appropriation not later than two full fiscal years after the close of the current fiscal year.
