Summary

The sum of $239,910 is appropriated for the National Zoological Park for: roads, walks, bridges, water supply, sewerage, and drainage; improving the grounds; erecting and repairing buildings; care and transportation of animals; necessary employees; traveling and field expenses for the procurement of live specimens; purchase and maintenance of one passenger carrying motor vehicle; purchase and maintenance of bicycles and non-passenger carrying motor vehicles, revolvers, and ammunition; purchasing uniforms to Park Police and keepers; and purchase of necessary books and periodicals. No part of this sum shall be available for architect's fees or compensation.
