Summary

The sum of $19,500 is appropriated for rent of rooms in the Union Building for the Patent Office model exhibit. A commission is created to consist of the Secretary of the Interior, the Commissioner of Patents, and the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution. The commission shall determine which of the models of the Patent Office may be of possible benefit to patentees or of historical value. Any models this selected shall be cared for in the new National Museum building and the remainder of said models shall be disposed of by sale, gift, or otherwise as the Commissioner of Patents, with the approval of the Secretary of the Interior, shall determine.
