Summary

The Northwest Hall of the Arts and Industries Building is selected as the location for the exhibition of the National Numismatic Collection. The collection includes a large amount of numismatic material assembled by the Division of the History and the collection of numismatic material formerly shown in the United States Mint in Philadelphia, which was transferred to the United States National Museum from the Treasury Department. "A satisfactory installation of the whole collection has been rendered possible by the transfer to the Museum of the exhibition cases in which the Mint Collection was formerly shown."
