Use of SI Lecture Room for Public Meetings

PrintThe Smithsonian Lecture Room is available for public meetings and almost constant applications are made for its use. They are all approved, provided that the expense of lighting, heating and attendance is paid and subject to the following exclusions: no lectures are allowed on any "subject connected with sectarianism, discussions in Congress, and the political questions of the day."
