Summary

It was ordered that Senator Leverett Saltonstall be added as a cosponsor to Senate bill 1957 creating the National Portrait Gallery as a bureau of the Smithsonian Institution and also to S. 1058 establishing a National Armed Forces Museum Advisory Board of the Smithsonian Institution, to authorize expansion of the Smithsonian Institution's facilities for portraying the contributions of the Armed Forces of the United States, and for other purposes.
