Summary

Amendments to the John F. Kennedy Center Act are made regarding capital repair, operation, and maintenance duties. There is a repeal of the audit requirement. The following sums are appropriated for maintenance, repair, and security: $13,000,000 for fiscal year 1999; $14,000,000 for fiscal years 2000 and 2001; $15,000,000 for fiscal years 2002 and 2003. For capital projects $20,000,000 for fiscal years 1999, 2000, and 2001; $19,000,000 for fiscal year 2001; and $17,000,000 for fiscal year 2003 is appropriated.
