Summary

The Secretary of Commerce and Labor is directed to establish a marine biological station on the Gulf of Mexico on the coast of the State of Florida. The State of Florida shall donate and transfer, free of cost, to the Government of the United States necessary land and water rights. Buildings, wharves, and other structures as may be necessary for the proper equipment of such biological station shall not exceed the cost of $50,000. Professors, instructors, and students of land-grant, agricultural, and mechanical colleges of the United States shall be admitted to said station to pursue investigations in fish culture and biology.
