Summary

The following sums are appropriated: $173,199 for expenses of the National Zoological Park; and $49,000 for the construction of a public exhibition building for birds, provided that the Commissioners of the District of Columbia are authorized to enter into contract or contracts for the completion of said building in accordance with plans and specification approved by the regents of the Smithsonian Institution, at a cost not to exceed $102,000.
