Rains Cause Damage to Zoo

PrintHeavy rains cause considerable damage in the National Zoological Park. Rock Creek has overflowed to the machine and carpenter shops on three occasions, and the resulting work in repairing and cleaning retards the regular construction work as planned for the season.
