Dale Crowley, Jr., et al., Plaintiffs, v. Smithsonian Institution et al., Defendants
Close
PrintPlaintiff brought action alleging that the Smithsonian's exhibitions on subject of evolution violated government's role of religious neutrality in violation of the First Amendment. Court ruled that since the Smithsonian does not treat evolution as part of a religion, "secular humanism" or otherwise, its exhibitions on evolution did not violate the First Amendment. Court entered summary judgment for the defendants.
