Summary

George E. Badger, a member of the board of regents of the Smithsonian Institution, who is now giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the Government, is expelled from the board. Louis Agassiz is appointed a member of the board to fill the vacancy occasioned by the expulsion of Mr. Badger.
