Summary

The sum of $4,000 is appropriated for the improvement, care and maintenance of Smithsonian grounds. To enable the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway Commission, (created by section 22 of the Public Buildings Act approved March 4, 1913) to continue proceedings toward the acquisition of lands required for a connecting parkway between Potomac Park, the Zoological Park, and Rock Creek Park, $75,000 is appropriated. The sum of $125,000 is provided to cover the expenses of the National Zoological Park.
