Summary

The following sums are appropriated for the Smithsonian Institution; $43,000 for International exchanges; $44,000 for American ethnology; $7,500 for the International Catalogue of Scientific Literature; $15,500 for the Astrophysical Observatory. Plans are authorized for the building for the National Gallery of Art. The sum of $415,000 is provided for the National Museum. For the administration of the National Gallery of Art by the Smithsonian Institution, $16,000 is appropriated. For printing and binding for the Smithsonian Institution, including all of its offices, $77,400 is provided.
