Summary

Articles imported for the sole purpose of exhibition at the Southern Exposition at Louisville, Kentucky are to be free of duty. Any such articles sold in the United States or withdrawn for consumption shall be subject to the duties imposed on like articles by the revenue laws. Any commemorative medals shall be prepared at some mint of the United States subject to the provisions of the coinage act of 1873. With the approval of the director of the National Museum, any portion of the collections thereof may be exhibited at the Southern Exposition.
