Summary

The Columbian Institute for the promotion of Arts and Sciences is incorporated. The powers of the corporation are stated and include the purchase of a suitable building for the preservation and safe-keeping of a library, museum, and land for a botanic garden. The amount of real and personal property to be held by the corporation shall not exceed $100,000. The corporation's charter is limited to twenty years.
