Summary

$11,000 is appropriated to pay the legal representatives of the late Joseph Henry, for services rendered by him as member and president of the Light House Board. The following sums are designated: $18,000 for preservation of the collections of the National Museum, including those from the 1876 International Exhibition; $5,000 for the distribution of duplicate ores and minerals; $2,500 for the preservation of collections, Smithsonian Institution, Armory Building.
