Summary

The Regents referred the matter of the inheritance tax levied on the Freer estate by the State of Michigan to Mr. Delano, and requested that he travel to Detroit to investigate the circumstances of the tax. The Board of Regents approved the acceptance of the resignation of Mr. John E. Lodge as Curator of the Freer Gallery of Art.
