Smithsonian Secretary Charles Doolittle Walcott describes some additions to art collections made by Mr. William T. Evans, who presented 32 paintings illustrating the work of American artists, and Mr. Charles Lang Freer, who had visited China to obtain rare articles illustrating the early development of Chinese art.
