PrintWork is essentially a glossy, popular guidebook to the Smithsonian. Includes visitor information such as hours, locations of buildings, and most popular holdings. Gives historical information on the Secretaries, the buildings, the National Mall, and exhibits. Also includes several floor-by-floor tours of museums, including the National Museum of Natural History and Natural Portrait Gallery. Chapters on several museum also include "What's going on and where to find it," which contains visitor information, including public transportation routes, parking, notable exhibits, feeding times (for National Zoo), and location of the museum shops. Also includes information on the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the National Gallery of Art.

Available in English, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese. Contains many glossy photographs of the most popular exhibits.
