Summary

The Board of Regents adopts a resolution to request that Mr. George Catlin deposit his collection of Indian paintings and ethnologica with the Smithsonian Institution as soon as a building is ready, provided he do so without charge to the Institution. Upon the deposit of the collection, the institution will arrange and prepare the collection for exhibition.
