Summary

The United States Congress resolves, by joint resolution, that the vacancy on the Board of Regents of the class "other than members of Congress" shall be filled by Andrew D. White (NY), in place of Asa Gray, deceased. The resolution was first introduced on February 8, 1888, in the Senate, by J.S. Morrill.
