Summary

Describes the state of the collections of the National Air and Space Museum as they are displayed in the Air and Space Building and in the Arts and Industries Building. Also discusses the poor condition of some of the objects at the Silver Hill Facility. Includes a short history of Paul Garber's role in collecting significant artifacts for the museum and the debate over legislation for a new National Air and Space Museum building.
