Hopkins Becomes Director of NAM

PrintPhilip S. Hopkins is becomes director of the National Air Museum, now the National Air and Space Museum, effective October 28, 1957. Before coming to the Smithsonian he was professor of aviation and head of the department of aviation at Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont.
