Summary

The private collector Teodoro Vidal has donated 3,500 objects of his collection of Puerto Rican art to the Smithsonian Institution. Most of the collection will be housed at the National Museum of American History with several dozen being added to the permanent collection at the National Museum of American Art, now the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
