Summary

The new Philip D. Reed Education Center opens at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. The new center includes a multipurpose classroom, library, exhibit hall, and office space. The center will be used to host students and teachers participating in environmental education. The center will be officially dedicated in late October 1997.
