Summary

"Reporting the War: The Journalistic Coverage of World War II" opens at the National Portrait Gallery and will continue through September 5, 1994. The exhibition explored the experiences and perspectives of 35 men and women journalists who covered the war. Some of the journalists included are Edward R. Murrow, John Hersey, Bill Mauldin, and Margaret Bourke-White. A catalogue accompanies the exhibition.
