Summary

The Translation Publishing Program run by the Smithsonian Institution Libraries ends after the Special Foreign Currency operating funds that support it are exhausted. The program began in 1960 and published, registered with the National Technical Information Service, and distributed free of charge copies of 274 scientific book and articles translated into English from foreign languages.
