Summary

The Collections of the United States National Museum increased by 206,617 specimens for the Fiscal Year 1900 (July 1, 1899 - June 30, 1900). This brings the total number of Museum specimens to 4,819,836. The additions, comprised in 1,467 accessions, are the result of Government and other explorations, gifts, exchanges, purchases, and deposits.
