Summary

The Board of Trustees of the Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation voted to tentatively accept H. Ross Perot's $70 million offer to move the Museum to Texas. The vote was made subject to reconsideration if the board decides the financing commitments made in the new proposal from the American Museum of Natural History are sufficient.
