Exhibits for 100th anniversary of Franklin D. Roosevelt's birth, January 30, 1882, include: (1) "Franklin Delano Roosevelt: The Intimate Presidency," installed at National Museum of American History. (2) "FDR: The Early Years" opens January 28, National Portrait Gallery. (3) "Five Distinguished Alumni: The WPA Federal Art Project" opens January 21 at the Hirshhorn, includes the works of Willem de Kooning, Ibram Lassaw, Alice Neel, James Brooks, and Ilya Bolotowsky. (4) "Roosevelt's America: New Deal Paintings from the National Museum of American Art" opens January 9. (5) "The Flying Roosevelts" (January 25- July 1) opens at the National Air and Space Museum. (6) "Mary McLeod Bethune and Roosevelt's Black Cabinet" opens at Anacostia on January 24.
