Summary

A temporary structure is erected adjacent to the Smithsonian Institution Building for use of the United States Signal Service for housing aeroplanes and aviation applicances. It will be used as a temporary test center for Liberty Motors. In 1919 this building will be transfered to the Smithsonian to house the National Air Museum, now the National Air and Space Museum. The building was demolished in 1975.
