Summary

The Beatles' Rolls Royce is auctioned off by Sotheby's for $2,090,000. It was purchased by Jim Pattison, president of the 1986 World's Fair (Vancouver) where it is to be displayed. The proceeds went to "alleviate" space problems at the Cooper-Hewitt.
