Summary

The Smithsonian Institution launches a new corporate membership program, designed to "introduce more of corporate America to the varied projects and activities of the nation's museum" and to generate income for Smithsonian initiatives. The program is part of the Smithsonian National Associates Program. The Smithsonian Corporate Associate Program begins with Roberto Goizueta, chair of the board and CEO of Coca-Cola, Inc., as founding chair.
