Summary

The Anacostia Neighborhood Museum closes to the public to reopen April 31, 1987 at its new address, 1901 Fort Place, S.E. The Museum had operated on Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue since 1967. The opening at Fort Place actually occurs on May 17, 1987.
