Summary

The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden Shop moves upstairs to the street-level lobby. Beginning in mid-November, the shop's old site is to be reconfigured into much needed exhibit space. This second phase of construction, expected to be complete by mid-January 1987, also includes the reduction of the coat room by about two-thirds and the installation of an audio-visual theater in the newly created space.
