SI Annual Report Revamped
Close
PrintThe Smithsonian Institution Annual Report is revamped in "concept, size, length and substance" for the first time in Smithsonian history, and it is renamed "Smithsonian Year." A statement of plans and purposes by the Secretary, a report to the Board of Regents, and short descriptions of each bureau's major events and achievements are now published in just under 200 pages. The ten traditional appendices are now published in a 425-page microfiche edition available on request from the Smithsonian Institution Press, the publishers of the "Smithsonian Year."
