PrintTerry Erwin, curator in Entomology, National Museum of Natural History, is appointed Supervising Scientist and Director of the newly developed Program on Biological Diversity, which is jointly sponsored by the Smithsonian and the Man and Biosphere program of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
