A collection of diaries, correspondence, drawings, sketches, handwritten manuscripts, typescripts and memorabilia belonging to the late Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney (founder of the Whitney Museum of American Art) is donated to the Archives of American Art by her granddaughter, Flora Miller Irving.
