Objects Missing from NMAH
Close
PrintThe National Museum of American History reports that four objects, including a set of false teeth that belonged to George Washington, are missing. The teeth were on loan from the University of Maryland Dental School since 1965, and were made for Washington in 1795, one of the four extant sets owned by him. Another set of false teeth and two pocket watches were also reported missing.
