Summary

The Board of Regents, in what was designated as the "Alexander Wetmore Memorial Meeting," approved the Smithsonian's "Five-Year Perspective," a report on requirements and goals for fiscal years 1980-1984. Also approved was the allocation of $100,000 in non-appropriated funds for further study of "the feasiblity of development of the South Quadrangle behind the Castle." The plan will later be known as the "Five-Year Prospectus."
