PrintFollowing the August 27 shooting of a cafeteria worker, Cheryl M. Hawkins, in the National Air and Space Museum, a veteran security officer, Arva Faye Harris, 38, is arrested and charged with second-degree murder while armed. (She was arrested on either Friday or Saturday following the shooting. Newspaper accounts give different days.) The crime appears to stem from a personal dispute.
