Summary

Paul Garber, Historian Emeritus of the National Air and Space Museum, dies at the age of 93. Mr. Garber was responsible for the acquisition of many of the Smithsonian's most significant aeronautical artifacts and was the first curator of the National Air Museum when it became a separate bureau.
