PrintThe Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory is chosen by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to plan, develop, and operate the worldwide science support center for the Advanced X-ray Astrophysics Facility. The approximate value of the contract is $87 million over a 10-year period.
